Central Park is the playground for New Yorkers. Located in the middle of Manhattan, the 843 acres park is open all year round. There are concerts, film festivals and holiday activities abound. With every season, there is a reason to visit Central Park. In summer, with temperatures at 80+ degrees and with high humidity, Central Park is a welcome respite for New Yorkers. I love spending my summers having picnics in the grass. In addition, Central Park presents an outdoor cinema series every summer. In fall, I love being with the crowd watching the New York City Marathon. In winter, walking in the Park with falling snow is so romantic. In spring, it is always nice to watch the flowers bloom.
When you look at these pictures, it is no wonder that hundred of movies have been filmed in Central Park.

Amazing pictures…I was in New York exactly one year ago today so it’s fun being nostalgic. Great blog; thanks for sharing about all things New York!
